Phil and I wandered around Paris. It was such a adjustment to wander without purpose or a to-do list as long as my arm. We just walked the streets and in and out of stores and stopped for coffee, wine and food. Heaven.
We were surprised that the only place where we met with any snobbishness was at Le Grand Vefour (slide show below), but it really wouldn’t have been a trip to Paris if everyone was polite and gracious. We also ate at Jules Verne, where they seemed to have segregated all the loud Americans to one side of the restaurant and they had the tiniest little silverware, but the view was unbeatable and it was very romantic even though it was touristy.
I also hit the BEST vintage/second hand store called Reciproque! If in Paris, you must go. It is a Parisian treasure trove of luxury labels for a fraction of the price…
